DISPENSERIA FUORI PORTA

On 30 October, Dispenseria is going fuori porta.

Not very far, thankfully.

For one evening, Matteo will leave his little shop in the centre of Parabita and bring part of that world to Palazzo Piccinno.

Dispenseria has become one of those places we naturally send our guests to. Not because it is polished or designed as an “experience”, but because it feels real. It is a place where you can walk in for a bottle, discover something made nearby, ask questions, meet people and leave knowing a little more about this part of Puglia than you did before.

And behind the shop there is another story.

Matteo and his family are also behind LAND Società Agricola and OYOU, a project rooted in olive growing and in the idea that something as ancient and familiar as olive oil can still be approached with curiosity, design and a contemporary point of view.

That is exactly what we wanted to celebrate.

So on the evening of 30 October, there will be an olive oil tasting with Matteo, wine from a selected cantina, music playing through the house and the kind of atmosphere we always hope for here: people arriving for a glass and staying because they have found someone interesting to talk to.

No formal tasting room.
No complicated language.
No need to know anything about olive oil or wine before you arrive.

Just come curious.

Taste the oil properly.
Have a glass.
Have another.
Meet the people behind what is being poured.

For us, this is also a very fitting way to reach the end of the season.

After a year of welcoming people from many different places, we wanted this last gathering to feel close to home. Close to the town, to the people around us, and to the things being made here every day.

Because hospitality, for us, has never only been about what happens inside the Palazzo. It is also about opening the door to the world around it.
