Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Palazzo Piccinno website and services. By accessing our website or making a booking, you agree to these Terms.

1. General Information

  • Palazzo Piccinno (Via Coltura 41, Parabita, Lecce, Italy) is operated by CONTI srl.

  • These Terms & Conditions govern the agreement between you (“Guest”, “you”) and us for accommodation, services and experiences.

  • These terms may be updated at any time. The version on the website at the time of booking will apply.

2. Reservations & Payment

  • A reservation is confirmed when we receive the requested deposit and you receive our confirmation email.

  • Rates are in euros (€), inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise specified.

  • Payment methods: credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), bank transfer or cash (subject to local law).

  • Special or promotional rates may have additional conditions (non-refundable, prepayment, etc.).

3. Cancellation & Modifications

  • For standard flexible rate: cancellations made at least 14 days before arrival are free of charge; later cancellations or no-shows will incur full stay charge.

  • For non-refundable rates: full amount is charged at booking and no refund is available.

  • Booking modifications (dates, room type, number of guests) are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

  • In case of force majeure (natural disaster, government restrictions, etc.) we may issue a voucher valid up to 12 months in lieu of refund.

4. Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in: from 15:00

  • Check-out: by 12:00

  • Early check-in or late check-out available upon request and subject to availability; additional fee may apply.

  • A valid ID or passport and credit card (or deposit) must be presented on arrival.

5. House Rules

  • The rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas (garden, terrace).

  • Quiet hours: 23:00 to 08:00. Please respect other guests and the property.

  • Only registered guests may stay overnight. Visitors must be informed in advance and may incur extra charges.

  • Please treat the property, furnishings and other guests with respect; damage will be charged.

6. Pets

  • We welcome one small pet (up to 6 kg) per room, at the fee of €40 per stay, subject to prior notification.

  • Pets must be supervised at all times and are not allowed on beds or sofas.

  • You are responsible for any damage or cleaning beyond usual wear and tear caused by your pet.

7. Liability & Damages

  • Guests are liable for any damage, loss or excess cleaning required during or after the stay. We reserve the right to charge the credit card on file.

  • We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage of personal items—please use the in-room safe.

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

8. Accommodation & Experience Services

  • We offer curated experiences (boat tours, wellness treatments, dinners, etc.). These may be operated by us or by trusted local partners.

  • All activities are subject to availability, weather conditions and partner schedules.

  • We are not responsible for delays, cancellations or injury arising from third-party services. By booking an experience you accept the third-party provider’s terms.

9. Breakfast & Dietary Requirements

  • Breakfast is included in the room rate and served daily.

  • Please inform us of any dietary requirements (gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, vegan) in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.

  • Additional requests (private dinners, transfers, rentals) should be made at least 24 h ahead.

10. Internet Access

  • Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

  • Use of the network for any illegal downloads, offensive or malicious activity is strictly prohibited and may result in network suspension or additional charges.

11. Parking

  • Free public parking is available near the property.

  • We make every effort to ensure convenience but cannot guarantee a dedicated spot; vehicles are parked at guest’s own risk. We are not liable for theft or damage.

12.  Transfers & Transportation

  • We can arrange private airport transfers (Brindisi or Bari) on request; additional fees apply.

  • Guests are responsible for arranging their own transport to excursions or off-site activities unless otherwise stated.

13. Health & Safety

  • The property complies with Italian and EU hygiene, fire and safety regulations.

  • Please inform us in advance of any allergies, mobility or health issues.

14. Refunds & Charges

  • Any refunds due will be processed in the same payment method used for booking within 14 days.

  • Any additional charges (minibar, experiences, damages) will be charged to the card on file or must be settled at check-out.

15. Privacy & Data Protection

  • We collect and process your personal data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian data protection laws.

  • Your data is used for booking management, communication, billing and legal compliance. We do not sell or share your data without consent.

  • Our full Privacy Policy is available on the website.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by Italian law.

  • Any dispute shall be brought to the Court of Lecce, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws

17. Amendments

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will be published on our website and will apply to future bookings and stays.
